Added on July 7, 2009, 12:46 am@saw2001 The facebook app seems to hang because it's not a steady released ver. My fb app keeps on crashing on me. I can't even have access to the inbox. (maybe cause of a 3.0 bug)
Try restarting the ipod (:

"If your post is referring to firmware 3.0 downloaded NOT from Apple, you have been reported for asking questions about piracy-related files. Firmware 3.0 is purchase-only and only available from Apple. If you have downloaded and APPLIED to your iPod Touch, you have breached the terms and condition of use of your iPod Touch. I've reported and flagged your post regarding this, since it has been implied that you got the firmware file NOT from Apple but from a different site, for free (leeched illegally) and not paid."
Thanks. I understand, but it was a beta release that i downloaded to try out what apple developers have made so far. I understand that it's a purchase only os release. I wouldn't mind calling apple to charge me the $9.99 (: I worked for Apple before. I know the drills.

I know the drills when it comes to purchasing stuff on itunes and appstore (: Also know that the 3.0 betas are for developers. I so happen to get my hands on one. Am not sure whether the one I got was the correct one I got from my developer friend "to try out". But it encountered an error and proceeded to downloading it.
I did not call for this illegal way of obtaining the 3.0. Neither did I call to make this method available to the public. As far as i know, there could be a loophole in the itunes that I'm using. Argh.. Nvm. Itunes wont allow me to revert back to the 2.2.1 anyway. =.= I guess I'm doomed.

I do like your attitude man (: it's a very legitimate one to fight for what's right. In my case, i guess testing the 3.0 beta before it's release in M'sia from my dev friend is not somewhat "legal". I mean since he asked me whether i wanted to in the first place. Considering he's working an app to be released soon to the public for free, but that doesn't go into the "legal" account either since apple would have the final say of what you can do and cannot do. But now, since the damaged is done already. And that I can't revert back to the 2.2.1 without losing all my data with itunes, I did mentioned that I wouldn't mind paying for the $9.99 since it's been specifically set for the ipod touch users. But it'll be ridiculous to call up apple and say that they accidentally gave me a free 3.0 and ask them to charge it to me(I own a free itunes account, no cc details). I did mentioned that "my intention was to test the 3.0 beta". And I admit that you're right, but apple better correct the loophole in itunes before everyone figures this out. It's like this guy who wanted to withdraw cash from the atm machine, and he his amount was RM50. But it came out RM100 notes instead.
