There are tons of IM apps for chatting, just list a few of them. Go find them at App Store.

You should have looked at APPLE official website for the details information.
Advertisement is meant for advertising its product, but not all the features on the phone.

iPod Touch 3G has the Voice Control feature by double-pressing the HOME button which will activate it.
Physical-wise, the how many GB wording is smaller at the back (if I'm not wrong).
