can't really tell, it's depend on the staff of the courier company at ur n buyer side ... also ... their mood when they handling ur motherboard. But for better tracking, i think skynet loh.

just make sure u pack properly. If i'm not mistaken, poslaju if below 2kg, west to east malaysia only RM8.20.

If big parcel the rate will be based on volume metrics

PosLaju is kinda cheap actually compared to other courier service, like they said packed properly and wrote on the parcel the word" Fragile" as big as can then they will handle it with care tongue.gif

I prefer poslaju over skynet. But the most important thing is you make sure to pack your mobo secure and well padded for the trip. Always insist on FRAGILE sticker if you're using poslaju so they know not to simply put heavy stuff of it.

Another to take into consideration is you can ask your buyer which courier he want to use. If he don't mind then it's up to you.

if the item you post expensive, just pay extra for insurance.

Yes...No matter which courier service you choose buying insurance is a very wise idea if you plan on posting heavy and expensive goods since for example...poslaju will only cover max RM300 for package over 2kg and RM100 for package below 2kg without insurance.

O, does that mean if I'm sending an item which costs Rm1000 and I've insured it and they will only compensate RM100 max if it's below 2kg? That's pretty useless isn't it? How much does the insurance normally costs?

Without insurance poslaju will cover only RM100/ RM300 but if you buy insurance they compensate according to how much you've insured. Cost less than RM2 for insurance coverage up to RM1000. Above RM1000 different cost so better refer your nearest post office for exact rate.

That's pretty reasonable, I nvr insured my item coz I thought it would be very expensive, didn't even bother to ask them for the price also xD

Take note that you can buy insurance at post laju centers only so if at small mini post offices such as those you can find at shopping complex they do not provide this service.
