Sorry a bit noob but this is stg like a RMVB movie player right? I need to save the rmvb files into a thumb drive or a hdd then plug it into this device to play the movie?

Also, does this gadget provde upscaling or stg?

hdmi can support video and audio, they are combined together, but 5.1 track should use the Fiber or Coaxial

yes bro, this is one of RMVB player, need to save the rmvb or other supported files into thumb dirve , internel or external Hdd to play on.

Any official website for Firmware upgrade? I prefer the 2nd one with network capable. Currently using PS3 with PS3 media server and need to turn on the PC, sigh ...
