hi all,
House roof tile quite old and sometime got leak problem.
Heard clay roof tile is more lasting than concrete tiles. Can someone recommend a good clay tile brand and type?
How much per piece?
Also, thinking of installing zincalume under the tiles for extra water proof. Any opinion?

Concrete roof tiles is good enough...leakage caused by not only defective tiles, but also warping roof truss. Do find the specialist to solve the problem before u change ur roof tiles, otherwise u will be ended up with new leaking roof.

the existing concrete roof tiles are giving way. (become powdery at the edge) That y need change. It is a pain to change roof tiles therefore choosing clay types which is more lasting.

It is a pain to change roof tiles therefore choosing clay types which is more lasting. What i meant is not the problem of roof tiles choice, normally people will opt for concrete tiles because it is cheaper and durable and giving the same appearance as clay tiles. I suggest u need to check your roof truss before proceed with the new tiles
