Hi all, I've been lurking around LowYat for some time and finally signed up as a member today. Since I've been getting a lot from the forum, I thought it would be a good if I can start my venture here by contributing to the forum. I found what JoelWyn did JoelWyn's forum thread (http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/791838) was amazing and wish to continue his/her work.

So here's what I'm going to do - send me your site/blog info and I'll give a short advice/review on your website/blog marketing strategy. Here's what I need to know before I can do my work:

- Your site/blog URL (please, only those with own domain)
- Your targeted audience
- Your goal for the site/blog

Alright? I'll check back this thread as often as I can and hopefully I can get some response over here.

Oh by the way, a little on my background - I make my living online for years, am Internet marketer, adsenser, domain reseller, blogger, affiliate - basically I just do anything that can make me money online. smile.gif

@lifeplayer of FreebiesPark.com:

1. Web design issue

First of everything, you need to give a reason to your visitors to visit your site. We don't like website with full of ads but little content with real value - so does YOUR visitors. What's most important I see now is that you need to cut down your ads (in fact I believe it's violating Google rules by placing Adsense along with other ad company's ads) and ramp up your web design - when you give visitors the feeling that you are freebie sites from year 2000, it won't draw repeat users.

2. Get the SEO 101 right

You are building a mall - this makes thing tough in SEO. Further more, you are not doing your basic SEO right, for example - your title tag is not optimized correctly. Google will display 64 characters of your title tag in their SERP, make good use of them - insert your primary and secondary keywords in all your page title tags. (and no, you don't need to include your site name FREEBIESPARK in every page title!)

3. Get quality links

Your site got about 11,000 links - that looks impressive at first but when I look closer (http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/search?p=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.freebiespark.com%2F&bwm=i&bwmo=d&bwmf=s) there are all just forum signature links and blogspot blogroll links - which are rather on the low quality site. If you are serious with your 2000UV/mo goal - you better get the first two issue listed above right and start getting some quality links. I wouldn't recommend you go for high demand generic keywords - go for long tail (such like your freebies product names is good enough) and keywords lower competition.

Well that's my two cents and I hope it helps.

1. Russia domain name for worldwide audiences?

I don't think having a .ru domain is the wise thing to do if you are aiming for worldwide audiences. But of course it can be done. As your blog still very new (about 2 months), I would strongly suggest (but not a must) to move your blog to an International TLD instead of a .ru if you are serious with the worldwide audience thing.

2. Get the buzz, get the readerships

Increase readership by creating buzz in social media sites. How? Content. Make contents that will get attention by other bloggers and social media users. See Digg, SU, Reddit - see what other paparazzi blogs are doing, sit in your users' shoes and think what do THEY want? Things like 'The best 10 of..." would probably hit the right chorde. Personally I would be very interested in reading and stumbling a post that titled "Top 10 Best Looking Europe Footballer Wives" (or vise versa - Top 20 Worst Looking Footballer Wife)

3. Links, Google PR, SEO

Well as usual - you need links to get Google PR, you need Google PR to attract link partners, and you need link partners to rank well. There's still long way to go but it's always good to get prepared and plan well what to do next for your SEO effort. Allocating certain budget for link advertising might be the to-do thing for the next 3 months.

Okay, that's my opinion on your site. Now before my girl friend is too boring I need to leave my PC. tongue.gif
