unlock and jailbreak are two different thing. once the phone is officially-unlocked (ie. your Maxis set), it will stay unlocked forever, regardless of the no. of times you jailbreak or any version of firmware you used during jailbreaking/updated to.

just proceed with the jailbreaking. you'll still be able to enjoy utilizing your 3GS on any carrier. that's the beauty of officially-unlocked sets. hassle/worry-free. smile.gif

does it mean ok i got iphone 3g 3.0.1 firmware i jailbreak it with redsn0w?
wat if i jailbroken it wrongly or miss out some of the step?
it wont lock and i can jailbreak it again? btw my phone could be use at every carrier means digi boleh celcom boleh does it refering to wat u said?
sounds complicated if can i try to jailbreak myself 1st if cannot or failed den i baru go shop ask ppl to jailbreak it for me

bro teikwing help me
my iphone sometimes come out with the warning no sim installed but onli certain times and it get damm annoying either i restart my phone or i plug in and out the sim again only it become normal
was it have to do with the jb or its the simcard slot issue? i try to wipe my sim for many times dy yet sometimes not very often this thing still appears

i tried dy still same issue maybe the sim card slot got problem and i should bring back to maxis for service?
den it means i need to un-jailbreak my fon again
it will save me alot of hassle if bro teikwing guide me to right direction thanks ya hehe appreciated it alot
