Nope, temporarily; I think its somehow similar to gevey sim. Never heard of it thou. Wanting permanent unlock slution? It has something to do with IMEI number and stuff like that. Dont know how it works

I was an Android user for almost half a year and newly opted to IOS. The Iphone 4 i'm currently using is an UK set with baseband 03.10.01 and i'm currently running jailbroken IOS4.2.1. Its an locked set thus i got myself a Gevey Turbosim. I would like to know is it possible that i can upgrade my IOS version to 4.3.2 now? I'm worrying that it will stuck me at the "connect to itune page" once i'm updated. Any kind hearted please help.

Lastly, sorry for the noob questions coz i'm seriously noob in I-Device.

its scam -- imitated / fake version. PROBABLY will work but wont last and signal is weak and many more, just google "fake gevey sim card" then youll know

guys,i bought an iphone 3 recently from a forumer.from what he told me,it is a canada set.and its an iphone 3g.but the back housing proves that it is a 3gs.so mayb seller duno what is the real model cause he aso got it from his cousin in canada.wen i ask him he said that his cousin never change the housing b4.so mayb it is 3gs.wen i ask him he says its 3g.so i duno hw to noe.the prob is,the phone is locked on the itunes and a cable screen.and cnt do anytin.what should i do!!!pls help me guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i really need help nw!!:(

Since you can't get into home screen, its quite hard thou.
My advise for ya is to learn how to jailbreak iPhone first. You will need hactivation in order to enables yourself into home screen.

Tell you what, you have 50 50 chance to test drive. Firstly test with iPhone 3Gs firmware. (Follow steps below)

1) Go download IOS 4.3.2 firmware for iPhone 3Gs (.ipsw) here : http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ . It's gona take awhile to download as the file is quite biggie. What say you.

2) Please make sure your iTunes is already the latest version.

3) Plug in to iTunes then put your device into DFU mode.


4) Shift + Restore and select the (4.3.2 .ipsw) you download earlier.

5) Grab a cup of soda to maintain your inward calm while restoring is in progress.

** If you ever encounter this error : could not be restored because the firmware file is not compatible, then repeat step number (1). Instead of downloading 3Gs 4.3.2 ipsw this time, download 3G 4.3.2 ipsw pulak.

Download Tiny Umbrella and run the program. It should be able to detect your iPhone and tell you what firmware it's on etc.

if you did read the first post there is currently no unlock for that baseband.

You can definitely download an older version, but it does not necessarily mean you can install it for your iPhone unless you have saved the SHSH blobs for the firmware you've downloaded.
