If you don't play games, 4736Z may be slightly faster. If you play games, 4530 will be almost 2x faster. All credits go to the Nvidia 9100M chip. I'm sorry but Intel graphics on the 4736 just sucks some serious balls. But as far as battery life goes, 4736 should last quite a bit longer. I think both sets should be just as hot, with 4736 a little cooler. At idle time though, the AMD set should be slightly cooler.

now 4736 comes with T6500 instead? is it worth for RM300 increase for 160GB + bluetooth, Intel T4200, thank you.

Beware ho..4736z model is WITHOUT Bluetooth....& T4200 is pretty old compare to T6400 or now T6500.

If 4736 wth freedos & retailing at ~RM2K..grab it as Vista is pretty slow compare to XP & Win7..Sumore I think Vista home basic has no free upgrade package from Windows...So u will get pretty old O/S very soon..

Quite sure it is written 4736g in all over the casing (but in system only written 4736)..as i understand the code name g is to shown the lappy got dedicated graphic card...i have checked in the dxdiag (direct x diagnostic Tool) it written
on system tab
system model: acer aspire 4736 (no 'g') can you check yours
memory: 2046mb ram (as shown in my computer properties)
page file: 1206mb used, 3121mb available (is it the limitation on window vista max is 3.25gb)

on display tab
Approx. total memory 1268mb

on the task manager/performance
add up total is about 3121mb

i had read though if you upgrade the vista to service pack 1 it will shown in the my computer properties you have 4gb but only utilities 3.25gb of ram ( http://en.kioskea.net/forum/affich-23993-m...m-on-a-32bit-os ) unless you using 64 system and not 32 system you can address all the 4gb ram.

the only thing is it because my memory had boost the GPU from 512mb to additional 1268mb? (the g 105m can support until 1791mb) hence it shown 2gb in my computer properties and why not 3.25gb....i need some one to confirm this  

yaya....now i so regret......grrrr.....yaya mine is included windows vista home premium(original)  my friend said nvm d...pirate windows7 got crack to make it like original....and then i so stupid== believe him...grrrr.....so....4736G's windows got warrenty or not^^ can i call them(Acer) help me reinstall?~_~  grrr ....

Have you try to install with 'ah em' vista home premium but use the register key that you have under your 4736G windows sticker? You can find the sticker at the bottom.
But some of you might have no windows sticker just like my friend's 4736G. I also wonder why no sticker on it.

I follow my friend when he buy the unit. I asked the shop but they just say it come with no sticker zzz. We buy it at Low Yat Plaza.
How can they sell the sticker with my friend's vista key on it? Mean others ppl who brought the sticker might using the same key also?
