A statistical analysis several decades ago (during an earlier "Bermuda Triangle" craze) showed that there's nothing special about this patch of ocean compared to other patches, in terms of ship/airplane losses, when the numbers are corrected for traffic density. And weather there is a factor, as Atlantic tropical cyclones just love that area.

More likely to be fiction than fact because humans like mysteries to entertain.

Erm, could be that due to difference in Earth's Magnetic Field in that area? Because the Earth's Magnetic Field is not entirely uniform as was said in my Physics Textbook.

So due to these abnormal Magnetic Field, cyclones, tornadoes or maybe mishap like to happen around the 3 island that form that patch of sea water known as Bermuda Triangle?

Basically, whatever sunk under the ocean is never going to be recovered...sigh to A330 Airfrance flight.

the magnetic field at that area is different compared to other parts of the world. some say its actually another dimension altogether. i remember there was a story of people who went in by ship. and when they finally got out of the region..they never age at all. if i`m not mistaken..40 years passed during their time in there.

man..typing this already gave me shivers down my spine..

There's some sort of magnetic field inside which disrupts the connectivity of radio communication. If I'm not mistaken it is potentially capable of disrupting electronic devices and since most transport operates on it so...crash?

Sorry no source coz I watch something like this on Discovery channel some time ago

yeah, it says, the airship crashed because of the inuniform magnetic field causing the plane system to crash, and it wasn't surprising no body was found because that area has a lot of sharks

agreed. that's exactly what happened to the aircraft i suppose. sudden high magnetic pull caused the machines on the plane to malfunction.
when i was 7, i read a book bout this. what ppl of centuries ago believe (when they only have ships, no planes) that it was sea creatures like giant octopus and mysterical dragons or some sort that wrecked their ships.

not to mention tsunamis or big waves happens quite regularly in miami, USA which is just a stone's throw away from the bermuda. so, scientists believe that it could also be whirpools that sunk ships.

i believe it could be true though. it's not of something that has just happened out of nowhere. the bermuda has past histories of weird happenings and accidents. i mean why would the US do so? to protect their country? don't think it's beneficial causethe bermuda is located south east of the US. the white house and the big apple is in the north east. and with science and logic, it's easy to tell that it actually exists.

but this is my question, since the bahamas, cuba or costa rica are all located in the bermuda, how come i've never seen nor read any accidents happen to them?

methane hydrates really amuses me. can lower the density of water and ships with greater density sinks

You know its entirely possible that the Bermuda triangle is more of hoax than anything. It could be that the US government did all its funny wonky testing there, and claimed it to be this crazy thing to make people think its like this urban legend and its claiming to be true. Just to make people to stay away. Its almost like the perfect place to do all type of illegal testing there so that no one can say anything. They say human cloning should be illegal, but what if there is some sort of lab or oil platform in the middle of nowhere doing all these types of testing an what not.. in a conspiracy point of view, it would be the perfect place to do testing. just my 2 cents.

too much movies boy...

but then again.. who knows... u might be right lol

if ppl since centuries ago has been saying bermuda triangle is a graveyard of ships and stuff..... maybe US has been doing experiments since then... or... US from the future created a time machine and located their experiment there 1000 yrs timeline ago. they need a place which is not in US (in case tragedy happens and destroy the US land) but somewhere near and accessible to them. Everytime they successfully tested something, they would 'deliver' the technologies to the future via UFO... that's why u see UFO in US... they were the time machine that delivers tomorrow's technology developed from 1000 yrs ago to the current US gov.

I mean... anything is possible right? just because u dont know doesnt mean it doesnt exist..

the more you learn, the more u realize u dunno....

I suggest going to your nearest library and reading up on this instead of asking here.

there are much more exciting places on Earth than the hyped up Bermuda Triangle

I believe it's a secret military base .

Who started all the mysteries? AMERIKANS.

Just like telling kids about the boogeyman and the closet.

Then themselves setup a military base and do all kinda research.

I might be wrong but yet nothing proved which is right.

No bodies were found.. but what about the sulphur tanker ship? Would it be so hard to find a giant tanker ship..? Even if it was thousands of miles underwater..
