without 3G, it would not be attractive if the selling price is around RM700+

QUOTE(tunertoobe @ Jun 22 2009, 12:42 PM) I would imagine teenage boys and girls, still in school would buy one of these. The choices of colours and 20 contacts homescreen with images seems to point that way. true. not even teenagers, my friends who are young adults, both males and females, mostly do not care much about functionality. they just want a phone that looks good. It's not that hard to convince their parents to get one, since it'll most probably be surprisingly affordable(take note of the 5800 and N97), and many would want one. Seriously, in the world, not many under 20s would use GPS and the numerous 3G enabled features(like video call for instance). |

QUOTE(double_7 @ Jun 25 2009, 12:04 AM) there is no point to get 5530 at price myr900. Because why? , that time the price for 5800 already drop to myr900. if it is priced at RM900 range, then this model will only be attractive to those who only care about the look but not the function. extra RM100 can get 5800XM AP already |

QUOTE(sc2 @ Jun 25 2009, 09:58 AM) now seriously im not sure. read that nokia has already rectified the problem in their new batch at 1st very eager to get 5800 just because continuous earpiece prob. A lot of ppl send bec for few times to fix it. So no point take the risk. i dun think such a con can be accepted for a phone. i am more worried about the memory corruption issue with class 2 memory cards |

QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Sep 10 2009, 08:45 AM) The RRP price is RM 1,035 i don't know, man ... even for RM900+, 5800 is still a better deal hereLink here: http://www.nokia.com.my/find-products/all-...530-xpressmusic Last time the RRP price for 5800 is RM1499 but phone shops were selling it at RM1300 the cheapest you can get for an ori set. |

RM940 is way too close to 5800's selling price
i will only be willing to get this phone if it is selling at RM600-700+ not sure about you guys though, perhaps those who love the phone's design but do not need the 3G and GPS will choose to buy this phone at current price |

QUOTE(mycacha @ Sep 14 2009, 10:38 PM) but I'm attracted by the stylish design outlook of the 5530 note that 5530 does not have GPS and 3G, and it has smaller screen with smaller bundled memory card size |

QUOTE(mycacha @ Sep 19 2009, 10:58 AM) the seller will recommend a phone that give them the highest profit margin it's easy, if u do not need GPS and 3G, go for 5530 otherwise, get 5800, which comes with 8GB mmc and larger screen as well Added on September 19, 2009, 11:02 am QUOTE(tunertoobe @ Sep 19 2009, 02:40 AM) and iianm, the price is much higher than the normal 5800XMwhy be bothered with NE when we have This post has been edited by cyew86: Sep 19 2009, 11:02 AM |
