Well bigger screen + 8gb is already good enough to choose 5800 rather than 5530 although it does have sleeker design and improved interface (which will be ported to 5800 soon).

Err.. 5800 big community doesn't mean it's all that good. Kinda hard to deal with now. ==

5530 is okay if u don't use 3g nor gps.
Screen size? It still looks big, by the looks of the resolution which is the same with 5800, 5530 will produce more crisp images.

If you find it irritating, you can use mykeylock application. I use it for my 5800, no need to turn off the slider jjust customize the available keys to unlock.

Of course, if you have incoming call, it will auto turn off the slider function.
