I love the features and size, but low ISO is kinda underwhelming.
And color rendition seems so-so, DSLR overemphasis on certain tones and such all present.
Does Olympus' interface still suck?

Eeeek. I guess I'll import the DP2 (~RM2400) instead.

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Jun 17 2009, 01:31 PM) yay! Better than buy DP2 right? (I think more E-P1 more feature) Here is the high ISO comparison between DP2 and E-P1: http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp...essage=32146877No comparison inside the link lol. If the E-P1 price goes down to 2.6-2.7k alone with the 17mm F/2.8 + OVF, it'd be a sure buy for me. The zoom lens seems extremely kit-tish if you know what I mean. Under no circumstance will I pay 3k + (keyword) for a compact that is nice but doesn't do any crazy things. Same for the Sigma DPs irregardless of features (2.5k below or GTFO) because the image quality is there.

1300 SGD is the zoom (kit) lens. Ugh.
Looks like they're not selling EP-1 + 17mm together in ASEAN. People like their f***ing zooms here >_>

I just saw this and I'm getting very appalled again. WTF is this love-hate relationship with the E-P1... "Watanabe explained the extent to which the company has gone to minimize size, including automatic correction of distortion: "We are doing distortion corrections. Panasonic is doing this and likewise we're doing the same to allow us to make the lens smaller." LX3 redux? I want to puke. These people need to learn from either Ricoh or Sigma, just STFU and make proper optics. p/s: If they forgo correction for the 17mm they're forgiven. QUOTE(seaotter @ Jun 21 2009, 09:24 PM) Yep Panasonic DMC-L1 and L10. Used L10 before. not bad lah Technically the Panasonics weren't APS-C. They were both 4/3.
