QUOTE(seaotter @ Jul 19 2009, 07:42 PM) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRM7U9pfsQsAnd a short clip of the event. Straight from camera to youtube - no PP. I feel i spent the appropriate amount of money to get the E-P1 event though its cheaper else where. Its the follies of being the 'FIRST~~!' people to get it, but i am really liking this camera. Have a bit more poison guys :3 nice! i like! but now... i hate u! hahahaha... alamak...this is not good!!!!!

QUOTE(seaotter @ Jul 24 2009, 07:49 PM) Have some more poison from the E-P1. ISO1600 f3.5@ 1.6 seconds. Photoshoped via manipulating the curves and cropping off glass reflection. Nothing more thats a very clean ISO1600 indeed! but the overblown highlights distract me a bit... other than that...

nothing can beat a pure breed DSLR. but the PEN can almost give most DSLR a run for its money. so keep ur DSLR for serious shoots. use PEN for everything else! Added on July 26, 2009, 10:17 pmQUOTE(calvin_gsc @ Jul 26 2009, 10:16 PM) Somehow, I believe this camera is more for casual use. Fast action photography is definitely not an area for this camera. exactly! it's more towards rangefinder style photography. =) This post has been edited by xandman: Jul 26 2009, 10:17 PM

QUOTE(d33pbluez @ Jul 28 2009, 09:19 AM) Wah...Got alot of PEN sifu in photographer here.... anyway i would like to ask a few opinion here since i still "green" in photography skill.... For E-Pen 1, What the best lens to used for night shot ? 14-42mm 1:3.5-5.6 lens or 17mm 1:2.8 Pancake lens silver ? if u have a tripod... any lense is good... else...anything with a big aperture helps...and also a flash!

if u ask me... i'll say fl-14! it fits nicely with the PEN... and i dun understand y one wouldnt like the flash.... bocz if i need some powerful flash...i'd go with my nikon rig... actually if u know how to actually use the flash... it's damn useful... FL-36R would look....awkward on the PEN...

fl-14 has a GN of 20 at iso200... thats good enuff for a recreational camera for me.. i bought PEN for it's small size...i wouldnt want to add a big flash to it...it's pointless... but if PEN is ur one and only camera...then it makes more sense.. if u know how to control the flash... even a small flash is useful...despite the limited range...and underpowered of coz...
