You won't have any problem installing and running Windows 7 even though your processor doesn't support Intel Virtualization Technology (Intel VT). Intel VT is required if you want to use the new Windows Virtual PC to run legacy softwares that refuses to run at all under Windows 7.

Yes you can, what I mean is legacy company softwares that refuses to run on Windows 7. AFAIK, old games like you're mentioning should be running without any problems using compatibility option.

Yes, you still can install Windows XP on a virtual machine using VMWare Workstation/Server or the old Microsoft Virtual PC, but you'll lose several functionality:

- You need to run the virtual machine first, while using Windows XP Mode, you can run installed program like normal
- You can't use any USB-enabled devices such as thumbdrives or printers.

It's not that important if you don't have any business legacy applications that you need to run on Windows 7. Even if you need to run other OS virtually, you still have other software suites, mainly VirtualBox and VMWare Workstation/Server.

Ahhh, nice examples there, but last time I tried, Adobe Photoshop 3 still run on Windows 7 IF your Windows 7 PC have 256mb or less RAM.

Photoshop 3. Read carefully. Not Photoshop CS2 or CS4. And Photoshop 3 run as fast as possible.
