Any recommended 2-4 player/co-op game (offline) out there??

besides/except :
-fighting games (like SF4, Soul Calibur,etc)
-sports games (like FIFA09, NBA Live09,etc)
-racing games

racing game - Grand Tourismo 5 prologue, 2 player split screen.

EDF 3 for 360 no doubt.

I wish to know what's available on PS3 as well so I can co=op with my friends when they come

Rock Band.... okay it may be damn expensive, but if all are willing to share it out, it's reasonable for the amount of fun you will get.

Come to think about it.... it aint easy to get offline multiplayer games in other forms now.... Most of the time you'd play with someone online

im still looking for best offline coop games on ps3.. haven't found one. so far played r6 vegas and that was quite ok.
if u surf around u'll find people recommend lbp for this. might consider to get one.. but dunno yet laaa..

I find playing Resident Evil Umbrella of Chornicles Wii is sien IF playing coop mode. Cos as for me my focus isnt there to play the game , ill be 50% relying on my friend who is the 2nd player.

Its more serious , and interesting if playing alone.
