Pos Laju items are supposed to reach recipients in 1 day (providing you sent the stuff in before the cut off time) to any location. If they are taking so long, why are we paying so much more then? I've had normal stamped items reach me the next day as well, and most within a week.

Even for Pos Ekspres, they are supposed to reach recipients in 1 day (providing you sent the stuff in before the cut off time) if the recipients are in those selected postcode areas (actually supposed to be same day delivery I believe).

I've been sending my complaints in every time they don't deliver within the timeframe, and I hope everyone does the same. Then at least there are the numbers to push them to work better you see.

i think pos laju puchong area is very slow doing thing.i check the tracking code it say attempt delivery.till now my customer not even got his parcel
*
it's the same everywhere. Pos Laju is just slow in updating their tracking. if the tracking code still says attempting delivery after that 1 day, and your customer hasn't received the parcel yet, contact Pos Laju to find out immediately whether the parcel was delivered/attempt to be delivered.

Can anyone confirm whether someone WITHOUT a Pos Laju account can get the Pos Laju courier pastic bag from them at their offices?

I don't have a company, so can't open an account, and there's no Mailboxes Etc d where I am (I used to get from them only, easy peasy then tongue.gif). I went once to post something, but when I asked the counter lady for the bags she said only account holders can get (No one else was there as it was the Friday right after Raya holidays) but when I asked a few different Pos Malaysia ppl from different branches they said can go to the Pos Laju center and get. Confusing much T.T

I went to the Pos Laju Center & Pos Offices in PJ, both places also do not provide courier plastic bag for customers anymore sad.gif That's why I always wrap my parcels with brown paper+plastic wrap laugh.gif
*
hmm, they probably stopped providing to non-account holders d kwa sad.gif the courier bags are so much easier to use, plus cost saving.

Hi Yulina,

You registered for personal use or company? Can I register with them if I don't own a company?

Thanks smile.gif
*
Confirm need to have a company first. sad.gif That's the reason why I didn't open an account myself =/

eh how come my item dint arrive 2day ar..the item was send yesterday..the system keep show me 'Courier is attempting delivery'
*
It could be that the postman didn't manage to reach your place in time + system didn't update. You should check the tracking again tmrw morning, and if the postman didn't reach you in time then there should be a notice like "Unable to deliver the item due to Missed delivery - Item will be deliver next working day"

pos daftar and poslaju is different rite? in post office can i use pos laju services ?.

i checked online rates, pos laju parcel rates to SG is only rm 21 around 1.3 KG.

mayb pos daftar is much more expensive then pos laju parcel.

what is the difference between pos daftar and pos laju parcel service ?

next time if i wan to post decks again should i go to normal post office or pos laju office ?

thanks
*
Pos Daftar and Pos Laju different.

Pos Dafter = Registered Mail = Like normal mail, but can track and need signature
Pos Laju = Expedited Mail = Express mail, can track and need signature

Both can do at any Pos Malaysia office.

Pos Laju will DEFINITELY be more expensive than Pos Dafter one. For the RM21 you calculated, did you add in the 31% extra for fuel surcharge, service charge and GST?

you guys try before when you send your parcel to your customer..they didnt get it and the parcel already delivery?the address is the correct address?anyone try before this case?
*
I've heard of that happening before. Few situations could have happened:
1) Someone collected for recipient but didn't tell recipient (usual case)
2) Pos Laju delivered to wrong person (rare occasion)
3) Recipient lying (it happens)

Ask your recipient to check his/her side first, then if still didn't get then contact Pos Laju (1-300-300-300 or csc@pos.com.my) and get the name and IC of the person who accepted the parcel. If the Pos Laju person delivered wrongly, then it is their responsibility to get the parcel back and send to your recipient.

QUOTE(ahbay @ Nov 15 2011, 06:18 PM)
Can i ask if the item was failed delivered today due to specific reason, can i still collect it the next day morning at the post office? And can i help me friend to collect the package instead?
*
If failed to deliver because recipient not home = can contact Pos Laju to arrange for second delivery FOC
If failed because of Pos Laju's own problems (I've had one case, the Puchong branch not enough manpower to deliver items in time) = have to contact Pos Laju and complain + rush them to deliver again

Either way, you can collect your parcel the next working day one. If to help your friend collect the package, supposed to need to fill the permission slip (it's on the missed delivery slip) but usually if you give them the tracking number and your IC can d one.

How good if the person were you..

i already ask her.she keep say no no.dunno who the guy that sign the parcel.i provide all the right information already.the buyer tone is was like i am the one who need to take the full responsibility.so what is u guys comment about my cases?if really cant take back the parcel.did i need to refund or wait pos laju pay back?
*
What was your TnC? For myself I always put that after I've posted the parcel, I don't take responsibility d so if it happened to me, I will try my best to get parcel to my recipient or may refund, but that is totally up to myself.

Have you contacted Pos Laju? Tell them your situation and see what you need to do. If the person who signed (got name and IC# as proof) isn't staying in the recipient's house one, then it's Pos Laju's fault so they should take responsibility.

A few pieces they will give one, but for many of us 5 isn't enough, as we send out more than that one shot.

if i want to pos a parcel, can i get the box from pos laju there?

I don't think all post offices carry those material, but if you go to bigger post offices/pos laju centers they should have them.

if i go to the pos laju national courier near kl sentral there , will they have it??
and do u heard of MBE??
*
I went there before once and asked for the flyers, but the lady at the counter said it's for account holders only sad.gif Yes, I used to do all my posting through Mail Boxes Etc, since there's usually no line + it was nearer to my place. They always gave me a big stack of the flyers and form when I asked for them, but it might be because they knew I always go back there.
