Poslaju require signature by receiver... its safer.

Pos express do not require signature by receiver..pos man will just drop the pos express envelop in the mail box

if talk about safety, Poslaju is safer that pos express alot. as I mentioned above, pos laju require signature by receiver. So chances of lost is not that high but if lost it can still be able to track back.

and pos express do not require signature by receiver..Pos man just drop it in mail box.. there are cases like pos man just left it in front or neighbour house because the mail box is too small... in case of lost.. hard to get back
Poslaju got give free plastic bag... u can ask at the counter but recently they always say out of stock.. my guess is they only keep for poslaju acc member

that box and envelop is pos express. not pos laju.

Last time heard poslaju got sell box but very limited place.. now im not sure where got.

better pack the hdd yourself with bubble wrap and some box ..u wouldn't want the HDD to spoil before the receiver get the stuff   

Poslaju is easy.. just go to counter and ask for poslaju form.. they will give u then u just fill in the info needed then get back to the counter.. they will weigh the parcel and tell u the price u need to pay.

Price started from Rm5.75. (Below 1kg)

Poslaju take 1 or 2 days to arrive receiver.

Recently for the plastic bag, they always say out of stock. so to be safe..u better pack yourself..

1st layer with bubble wrap then follow by brown , white paper or any paper than is not too thin.

can stick the fragile sticker.. i think pos office got.. not sure.. but the sticker can be found in stationery shop..tesco got!

at least they will be more careful... but there are cases like ppl stick fragile sticker but things inside still broken    so must pack nicely

Max is 30cm

so .. 30cm x 30cm x 30cm / 6000 = estimated weight.

then u can check the rates at the website
there are other courier service..like skynet, nationwide, kangaroo etc... u can try check out the feed backs in other thread..

but for me i prefer poslaju

Usually the poslaju staff will ask what kind of item you're posting? If they deem the stuff fragile they will put the FRAGILE sticker onto your parcel.  However for me I will request poslaju to put the FRAGILE sticker even if what I'm posting is not that fragile. I do this incase my parcel get squash during the delivery. 

Hi, anyone know where is the main postlaju centre in penang ? i mean normally the first place all the parcel will stop by.

  pack like how u pack parcel  with bubble wrap then u can find a small box that can fit in the pen drive then wrap with paper. or can use envelop
about posting.. u know how to use poslaju already right

the only good thing about e-parcel is cheap. e-parcel is useful for huge items and very heavy items only. but its like snail
Poslaju is still recommended for not so huge and not so heavy parcel and poslaju is fast.

From where to where. Last time my fren send from kl to penang take 3 to 4 days. Then from sarawak to penang sometimes 5 sometime 8 and got once drag to 2 weeks...

Quite hard to predict

Tell them e-parcel take long time to arrive. Wm to wm is around 3 days to 1 week.
If want fast pls use poslaju. Poslaju take 1 to 2 days toarrive only.

So they will know and wont angry later and say u didn't tell them lol

I'm trying to send a Hard Disk Drive with Pos Laju. Any advise how I should pack it. Since it's a very fragile item I want to take every precaution possible.

Does the Post Office sell the necessary packing materials? Also can I place a few fragile stickers on them? 

I track and trace my item using code and the status show that : CALL CARD SEND TO CUSTOMER . What is this means ?
