anybody staying in cyberia here?.. i stay in block a1.. they never come up.. the reason being that the main door downstairs is closed..but they never call.. everytime they will leave an undelivered slip.. i'll have to pick the item up in bangi.. wats the use of poslaju if i have to go pick it up myself?.. isn't it supposed to be delivered straight to your doorstep?
*
This is another norm whn usin' PosLaju; most likely they wont call u. There hav also bn lotsa of complaints that some posmen purposely put the slip into mailbox coz simply MALAS tongue.gif

hmm.....
how much more expensvie is... fedEX compared to poslaju?
gdEx?
*
Depends on weight; GDEX charges RM6 for 1st kg & RM 1 for each kg thereafter

600gm via PosLaju is already RM 5.78

FEDEX definitely much more the last time I enquired but cant recall exact charges

Frm my experience both PosDaftar & PosLaju safe. Nvr had any critical prob but there's always possibility high-value items might get stolen. For such shipping, I'd recommend use courier companies (like GDEX, City-Link etc)

May i know where to check the postage rate and charges of POS EXPRESS ?

I can't find in POS Malaysia official website.
*
QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 2 2006, 02:42 AM)
pos ekspress is charged at a fixed rate because u must use its ready made envelopes. the rate is regardless anywhere in Malaysia, regardless Penisular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak, it's the same price.

i think the price starts from 2.50, 3.00, 4.00 and etc.
u can go to the nearest post office to enquire and purchase.
*
There r al2gether 6 sizes of PosEkspres envelopes/boxes AFAIK. All r displayed @ their offices. Drop by & hav a look which suits u best

Well, I wrapped it with large white paper.... can said semi-hard. But according to my customer, when he received it, it was ransacked and opened..
*
Just layer of paper wont b sufficient 2 withstand the roughness the parcel 'll b subjected by ppl in Pos Malaysia.

This incident is act quite normal not only w/ Pos but many other courier companies

QUOTE(mxxuang @ Dec 21 2006, 03:27 PM)
guys, can i use a gift wrapping paper to send my parcel? Or only can use brown and white paper?
*
U can but I personally advise against doin' so. This was in fact told by the akak : Nnt kna curi ke

So rather than inviting trouble why not just wrap a layer of brown paper on top of the gift wrapper rite? wink.gif
