Yea, it was 3 days sad.gif But what choice do I have?

Did you tick "next day delivery" or "same day delivery" option? Did you send during the weekend? Pos Malaysia doesn't work on first Saturdays.

wanna ask..if i send d parcel today (poslaju one) around 4pm..then tmrw it will be processed rite? and take another day to reach? like that?
*
Last collection is usually 3pm. If you post before 3pm, they will process and ship out the same day to destination. Takes 2 days max, usually its the next working day if you post before 3pm.

I have to tick either one? Never done that sweat.gif Will there be any difference if I tick?
*
Different experience with different branches -- I didn't tick for both branch A and B -- branch A took 4 working days whereas branch B took only 1 working day. You know lah, its Pos Malaysia, not DHL or Fedex tongue.gif. So I just ticked since then to play it safe and my parcels reach within 2 working days. What jiaxun said is true too, rural areas usually take a wee bit longer.

Which one have you tried? Same Day Delivery or Next Day Delivery?
Thanks for sharing.. Never know that we can purposely tick them, haha.. Ingatkan that post officer will do so. doh.gif
*
Next Day Delivery. I wouldn't use PosLaju if I needed same day delivery services. Some rajin got tick lah, others don't. Anyway didn't you read about how certain branches accepted electronic items such as headphones etc without problems while other branches reject such parcels outright? The only standard practice they have is they don't have standard practices tongue.gif. I'd tick just to be safe lah.

huh.got such thing?i tot if u wan 'same day delivery',u need to pay extra fee?no?usually my area here,if send before 2,it will be processed on the same day,and the delivery will be made on the next day.if i send after 2pm,they will process my parcel tomorrow and the recipient will receive it on the day after tomorrow

i oso never tick leh bcoz i noe tat the 'same day delivery' macam ada extra fee.dun wan itchy hand, tick it,then i need to pay more  laugh.gif

Yeah if you want same day delivery services, you have to pay extra. Available locations for "Same Day Delivery" are extremely limited, most are confined to local towns. Cross town deliveries are only available for KL, PJ and Shah Alam areas. Probably the worst "Same Day Delivery" service offered by any courier service laugh.gif.

Just a mini calculation (refer to tables below to understand the calculations), if your destination is in local town:

Next day delivery for a 0.5kg parcel would cost you: RM3.50*1.25 (25% charges) = RM4.375

Same day delivery for a 0.5kg parcel would cost you: RM10.30

For "Next Day Delivery",

Note: Add 25% on top of your charges -- 10% fuel surcharge, 10% handling charges and 5% GST.

For "Same Day Delivery",

Note: Don't have to add anything as all charges are included in surcharges as seen in table.

Haha, sama la.. Itchy hands are never good.. brows.gif I initially thought, hm, maybe that's for Poslaju office purpose.
So, I never tick any.
Is this thing applies the same for parcels sent from Cheras to other major cities too?
Whoa.. That's pricey. Hm, if it's really urgent, better find other options. wink.gif
So far, nothing requires me to do so.
*
Don't think we'll have anything urgent as general/home customers. All of us prepare parcels and documents in advance anyway. Even if we do, anything beats Pos Malaysia. I'm ashamed of myself tongue.gif

hi
anyone can answer my question?
on the shipment notes of pos laju, thr's a box of "product n service"
thr stated next day delivery, same day delivery, time certain service,on demand pick up,etc
bside gt a "pilihan" wrote "Drop mail" n a box to tick it

wht mean by the drop mail?
n wht is time certain service?
eg:can i ask to deliver my parcel after 3pm?is thr any charges?

thx
*
I can't tell what "Drop Mail" is. I'm guessing it is the option to "drop mail" even when nobody is home in contrast to the common PosLaju practice.

As for Time Certain Service,

QUOTE
Domestic Time Certain Service

    * Guaranteed delivery by 10 am the next working day
    * Tracking and delivery confirmation of items
    * Money-back guarantee, i.e. refund of TCS surcharge in the event of service failure
    * Compensation for damage, loss and violation of documents will be made according to Poslaju terms and conditions
    * Poslaju published rates and additional domestic TCS surcharge of RM 3.50 per item is applicable
