Poslaju starts only with ED or EN...LX or LE should be pos ekspres if I'm not mistaken...someone can correct me if I'm wrong. CD is usually for e-parcel and RD for pos daftar  smile.gif

is it?i think i've messed up the codings already XD

Did you tick "next day delivery" or "same day delivery" option? Did you send during the weekend? Pos Malaysia doesn't work on first Saturdays.
Last collection is usually 3pm. If you post before 3pm, they will process and ship out the same day to destination. Takes 2 days max, usually its the next working day if you post before 3pm.
*
huh.got such thing?i tot if u wan 'same day delivery',u need to pay extra fee?no?usually my area here,if send before 2,it will be processed on the same day,and the delivery will be made on the next day.if i send after 2pm,they will process my parcel tomorrow and the recipient will receive it on the day after tomorrow
QUOTE(solsekuin44 @ Jul 8 2010, 09:43 PM)
Which one have you tried? Same Day Delivery or Next Day Delivery?
Thanks for sharing.. Never know that we can purposely tick them, haha.. Ingatkan that post officer will do so. doh.gif
*
i oso never tick leh bcoz i noe tat the 'same day delivery' macam ada extra fee.dun wan itchy hand, tick it,then i need to pay more laugh.gif

QUOTE(Chanwsan @ Jul 25 2010, 04:23 PM)
hi everyone. not sure if my question belongs to here but I'll just ask away first..

Does anyone have experience shipping items from overseas using SAL? Are they handled by Poslaju or other post services after arriving at Malaysia?

For my case, the magazine I've ordered from Japan was shipped at 8 July using unregistered SAL. I have yet to receive my item to date and I'm getting kind of panicked as I seriously have no idea where my item is currently.

So.. if it is handled by Poslaju, we will need to give a signature when we have received the item like the usual Poslaju procedure right? And if worst comes to worst, they won't be able to help in anything if it is misdelivered or lost?

Thanks in advance.
*
i used SAL once, which was few weeks ago.i ordered a cd frm a japan site and i received it 8 days after they send out.usually it might take weeks or even months,if they have lots of parcel to send.so,i can't guarantee that everyone will receive their SAL parcel so fast.and, they are not handled by poslaju.they are handled by normal postman, which means they will send your stuff to cawangan serahan.unregistered SAL is abit risky as you don't need to sign when receiving the parcel.and,if its peak month,it might be worst.it might gone with the wind tongue.gif or whatever might happen.
if you buy from japanese online store, try to email them and see what they say.usually they will ask you to wait for 1-2months.if its from rakuten or from those bidding site, good luck to you smile.gif

i think the best solution is call the pejabat poslaju near your house.they can help you settle way faster than you call pos hotline
