Hi,

I'm interested in sending an electronic equipment with a weight of 7KG. Its pretty fragile considering.

Any thoughts on how safe and careful POS LAJU are? The max reimbursement for packages are RM 300 sad.gif , and the girl advised me to put a 'fragile' sticker. But I wonder if thats enough.

The equipment is worth nearly 2K so its quite risky.

Hey,

I'm wondering what the difference between Pos Express and Pos Laju? Are both of them door-to-door service? Or something else... ?

laugh.gif hehe its with risk for sure smile.gif for expensive stuffs ...maybe u can choose to use GDex or Fedex smile.gif
Or another option is to wrap your item nicely and firmly...and use hard covered box and soft-span in it to absorb impacts smile.gif

smile.gif use a box (hardcover) and place the rams inside. Then fill in the empty space with paper smile.gif and then wrap the box smile.gif thats the way i do ...

peninsular: <500g RM4.73
sarawak: <500g RM6.50
sabah: <500g RM7

Hi, anyone got experience sending food or other stuffs to US using Pos Malaysia? Was thinking to try out the normal parcel since it's pretty cheap to test test first. There wasn't any info on their website about restricted items but was told tat Pos Malaysia not allowed to send foodstuffs to US. I've tried UPS and my package got there fine. But the thing is it's too expensive lor. I've heard people sending some restricted items to places like UK before and it got there intact. But think that US is more strict on such cases. Would appreciate if anyone of you could share any experience at all. Thanks!

Thanks for the info. My friend sent cigs n p*rated VCDs to UK and the package got there safe n sound. I hope no authorities are reading this! Haha...Prob I'll give it a try on nicely packaged food. I've tried sending food (including instant noodles with powdered seasonings) and it got to US safely too but that it's thru UPS. UPS guaranteed it but DHL discouraged it.

Oh btw forgot to ask...they'll ask you to declare the contents right? You just put food or just the books? Cos the last time I called them they said food not allowed. Just wonder if I put food will they reject my package outright?
