Ups the ante with 5MP camera and 16GB support, and also with 3.5mm phone Jack and 250MB internal memory

anyway this phone is a real keeper. the optical navi is very cool. i really like the feel of phones with optical navi mouse like the blackberry bold.
this one hopefully will have better spaced qwerty keys

My guess is that it will be about 1,799 RM.
Although it looks similiar to E71, its actually quite different. The mic section is different, and the sides are more similiar to E55/E52, and also the spacebar is shorter to allow more spaced out buttons at that row. And it now has the on off key for the flashlight function simliar to the E63.

urm i just had a look but its hard to say since this will only come out at Q3.
Theres no saying that they might actually revise the package contents before release because Q3 is still a long way off, and they might get a lot of feedbacks along the way.
But honestly the pouch that comes with E71 doesnt last that long.

E71 was almost that price when it first came out. You must remember this is much better because it supports up to 16G memory card, twice of E71 only 8G, only also the 5MP camera, plus the 600 mhz processor almost twice the speed of E71's 400Mhz.

If E71 can support 16G, I guess E72 will support even more prolly double the capacity. i guess its good if you have a lot of songs, but transferring via a card reader is much faster than connecting it with the nokia cable.
what is going for it is the RAM which is double and the 600Mhz processor as opposed to E71's 400Mhz.

No, not as yet. I googled singapore E72.

Anyway the main concern of this phone is the 1500mAh battery which is the same capacity of the previous. but yet the processor is almost twice as fast. the battery will die out faster than E71.

My advice to you rabid fanboys is to hold on to your E71's and once E72 is out, use it as a trade in to get a much lower price.
