done a full research on nokia on mac.
1) it only supports multimedia file transfer. If you are looking for a fw upgrade, you can't. only support windows platform.
2) not all nokia phone supports mac. unfortunately, e72 won't be compatible to nokia pc suite for mac. so all mac user, you are on your own.
I have been using mac with nokia for a long time and here is what I do :1) it only supports multimedia file transfer. If you are looking for a fw upgrade, you can't. only support windows platform.
2) not all nokia phone supports mac. unfortunately, e72 won't be compatible to nokia pc suite for mac. so all mac user, you are on your own.
-Bootcamp for NSU and PC Suite backup, dual boot and it is faster but how often do we need that
-iSync for the rest of the basic functions ie sync with iCal and Address Book. Don't even need PC Suite.
-Nokia Multimedia Transfer for music, photos, files etc
-Bluephone Elite for sms & calls via Mac. Some SE phones can link direct to Address Book no need 3rd aprty apps
All these applications runs smooth as silk better than on Windows platform.
Hope this helps and don't be discouraged just becos it's a Mac OS, Nokia works perfectly with it.
