QUOTE(beatlesalbum @ Nov 20 2009, 01:09 PM) To those comparing E72 to iphone or E71 or even some other older model, it isnt fair to compare it an eye for an eye in its state of launch to exisiting product. I agree. All those phones you mentioned are mature and have already had firmwares and many batches of releases to smoothen out any irregularities. You should do an apple to apple(pun not intended) comparison ie, each products launch period to E72's current state now. I am an E52 owner and I can tell you that when it first came out, it too had some issues, and dont let me start on the problems iphone had at its launch. But im not saying this to put down other models, but in time all phones will mature to its optimized state, unless the company bankrupts Btw, how long does it take for a phone to mature, normally? Added on November 20, 2009, 5:29 pm QUOTE(johnm @ Nov 20 2009, 04:11 PM) the screen is clear...just the word that appears on the top left screen...first 3 letters clear then the rest fade away.. Hi, bro.wats E72-1? how is yours? After googled, I found that the number after E72 indicates the operating frequencies of the phone: # E72-1 Quad-band EGSM 850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 900/2100 HSDPA # E72-2 Quad-band EGSM 850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 850/1900 HSDPA # E72-3 Quad-band EGSM 850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 850/2100 HSDPA Source of information: http://europe.nokia.com/find-products/devi.../specifications This post has been edited by LS Lim: Nov 20 2009, 05:36 PM |

If I do not remember wrongly, the current best price for ORIGINAL E72 in LYN garage sales section is around RM1500 to RM1530.

QUOTE(johnm @ Nov 23 2009, 07:46 PM) 1.meaning...i erase my sim contacts n keep phone or vice- versa?... For 2nd question, I think it's normal for all phone because the memory in SIM card is very small (64kB or 128kB), only sufficient to save 1 contact no. per name. So, if you want to add details (home phone, email etc), you need to use phone memory which is > 200MB for E72.2. do have this problem...wen make a new contact in sim and want add detail of home phone, email etc. there is a prompt to copy into phone mem otherwise cannot add details...normal? 3. how to check memory card contents? Hope this helps. QUOTE(Shawnzz @ Nov 24 2009, 03:17 AM) Yup, this is a great price currently provided full standard package is included. * Nokia E72 * Nokia High Efficiency Charger AC-8 * Nokia MicroSD4GB MU-41 (inside device) * Nokia MicroUSB data cable CA-101 * Nokia Stereo Headset WH-601 * Nokia Battery BP-4L * Carrying case and strap * Cleaning cloth * User Guide * Nokia Eseries Experience Leaflet * Nokia PC Suite (v 7.1) in microSD card * Services included in the box: - Maps - Nokia Messaging supported Source of information: http://www.nokia.com.my/find-product/all-p...s?page=inthebox The current best price in LYN garage sales is around RM1500-RM1530 if I am not mistaken.... Mind to share where do you manage to get the E72 at RM 1300? |

Hi all,
I wonder if the E72's ringing volume is loud enough in noisy environment? Or it is very soft as E52/E55 (complaint by their users)? Thanks in advance. |

QUOTE(User61 @ Dec 1 2009, 12:31 PM) I feel the ringing is loud enough at about 30-40% of the max volume. The speaker is really a let down though. It's just only about usable at 100% volume. QUOTE(wiNd @ Dec 1 2009, 01:10 PM) meantime you can use a "louder ringtone"... Thanks a lot for sharing your views and tips. create a mp3 with boost volume Have a nice day. |

I think Xavi means here: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=28235122 and refer to "How To Add Unicode Fonts to Symbian". Where to look for the page??? He/ She has made a fantastic guide for Nokia E71 thread. Good luck, bro. |
