The phone is definitely a lil wonky. Hopefully it's just early firmware problems. I woke up today to my whole phone "breathing", not just the light on the nav-pad but the whole keypad + lcd. I can' do anything with it as there's no display, just the lights going on and off periodically. I had to take out my battery to stop it.

Nokia better give us a stable firmware with lots of fixes soon! They didn't make use of the long delay well.

This is bad. Seriously bad. Still it seems like it is not the right time yet to get the phone. DAMN

Does everyone experience the same prob as this, please share?

I always wonder why Nokia always launch their product without a stable firmware together.

because some the problem only can found when user use it.. when lab test is only the engineer or certain ppls test it, not really can discover the bugs.. that why got the firmware update, just like all the other operating system gadget..

are all nokie phones buggy? i know i've only tried 3100 (crappy old phone) and 5800 symbian phone. Symbian one seems to act funny occasionally and needs the battery to be taken out.

Can someone teach me how to use semicolon please? Other than those printed on the keypad..... semicolon like ~ or _ and etc.

Thanks!

The answer for this question is the "Sym" key. rclxm9.gif

i tried it on web browsin....very random even with consistent pattern of flicking. Sometimes there's kinetic scrolling, sometimes theres not . and also sometimes it scrolls a little bit sometimes it doesn't scroll..as if didn't register.

i wonder if nokia's using some cheap trackpad...i remember seeing blackberry's trackpad...no matter how u use it and browse the web, it scrolls exactly where your fingers go without fail.

I'm calling upon all E72 users to document all issues they've had with their phone here. I'm interested specifically in the spacebar and optical trackpad dying/stopped working and also whatever issues that you've had with the phone not responding/hanging. Thanks.
