Go to control panel, settings, general, personalisation, One-touch, Messaging key.
From here you can set either short press to go to New SMS or SMS application menu, or Long press.

cannot decide whether to buy E72 Black, Brown or Silver........

From Nokia website, seems like Brown and Silver the key pad is a little difficult to see the letters. Do users here feel it??

Black key pad is easier to see the letters bcoz of the contrast between the letters and the black color key pad.

no matter adults or teenagers... they bought the phone... they owned the phone... how they mod the phone it's to their own liking lor... even if a guy wanna stick a hello kitty sticker on it oso... still, it's to his own liking mar...

and for epikcase... i don see any wrong to it lor... it's a good protection from scratches... i say good stuff from epikcase...

I bought before CAPDASE and PDair case for my phone but sorry to say those cases will expand and become loose over time.
And mind you those cases aren't cheap.

One thing for sure, cheap doesn't mean that the quality isn't good.
Maybe those pasar malam casing should be price expensively so that "adults" like you will buy it because of its pricing.

I just got my E72 Grey Silver for RM 1550.

Having a big headache now :

Can i connect my gmail,facebook, youtube etc using WIFI ? everytime when i connect some application it will automatically connect using DIGI WAP, DIGINET or some packet data transfer etc etc which i think its chargeable

I have tried setting the wifi priority as 1 according to previous post.

Any suggestion for this ? thanks !!!

Eh, nothing special. I notice that connect through WIFI use less battery power than 3G connection.

As usual, use only GSM if you have WIFI around.
Turn off WIFI Scanning.
Use TaskMan or Any task manager to kill any opened program.

Something to share (hope I'm not "outdated")

When keypad is locked, press and hold optical navi key or any of the direction keys and you will get this screen.



useful to check time in the dark without having to unlock keypad and look at small clock.

Yesterday i started creating email account again, and i found out that previously i already using Nokia messaging, its just that i dont know.

When i started creating the 1st mail account, there will be one option asking you whether to use Nokia Messaging , or to use manually.

I chose Nokia Messaging, and since putting the default connection to wifi, everything works fine now.

Oh ya,

just install OPERA MOBILE ver.10 BETA, very good web browser, as compare to the original one. Just my opinion.
