SAM @ Taylor's http://www.taylors.edu.my/courses/pre_u/pr...ding.php?id=115
AUSMAT @ Sunway http://www.sunway.edu.my/index.php?option=...lang=iso-8859-1 its not that hard to google. most of your answers can be found on their website alone. You asking level of difficulty is almost like asking which need to study less. They are both year 12 secondary education certificates. SAM is from South Australia and AUSMAT is from western. The syllabus doesn't stray far. classes are almost like school but extended a bit, and the workload is consistent throughout the year. recognition, any one will get you to any Australian university and some UK ones. I'm assuming you are targeting Australian Unis. From experience, you can pretty much have some fun throughout the course just as long as you know what's going on in classes and you keep up with assignments. Some carry quite a heavy weightage thats carried towards your final exam. I can't say which is better cause i myself did SAM @ TCSJ. can't comment on AUSMAT but all i can say is i did have fun in SAM. |

Some of my friends did AUSMAT, some did SAM. Not much difference - neither mobs struggled in uni.
After all, it's Australian pre-U program we're talking about here. No stress, no worries mate! |

50-70% of your final marks is based on coursework throughout the year........so if your are a slacker, you may not do well.....
as to difficulty, even if there is any significant difference between the 2, moderation of marks nationwide in oz in the formulation of your ter score will erase any difference....... ie, if one exam cohort is 'easier' and more students get higher marks, when the bell-shaped curves are merged, you will be marked down, and will be given a lower ter....... |

no laa. where got 50-70 final examination?
i thought it was 30-70 or at most 50-50? anyway, don't expect the moderation to be so significant like SPM. |
