nope liao.. dremel actually tahan quite long... only if cut very2 tough material it will wear off.. acylric and metal casing is like cutting through butter =_= .. except acylric.. well erm.. u must apply pressure appropriately so that the disc wont break (i've break one before) and erm speed must be low.. if too fast, the plastic will melt.. once it melt, it'll become very messy once it dries.. stuck everywhere D:

rotary tools cant do what calvin do with his cut... sweat.gif

jig saw is a must for stright line cutting... rotary tools oni useful for smaller cuts and engraving so not so important.
the other tools that must have is a drill.

that is the basic... please remember to get extra bits for the jigsaw and drill...
these tools is what modder must have.

hand saw and file is much more important also(even important than rotary tools) sweat.gif

But most important is to use a good drill bit n 4 the jigsaw, u must use a good blade. The jig saw or the drill itself you can use a cheap wan, but the drill bit n saw blade is the critical part. Don skim on it.

The chopping is only about a few tenths of ringgit saw. But using the chopping saw will produce ugly edges of the hole, need alot of finishing to make to accepatable
