CHELSEA are planning a $200 million spending spree on three world-class players, according to a British report today.

The Daily Mail says Chelsea expect to complete the signing of Italian Andrea Pirlo this week and will then move on Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery and Atletico Madrid's Sergio 'Kun' Aguero.

French midfielder Ribery is one of the world's most sought-after players, with a number of top clubs, including Real Madrid and Manchester United, keen to buy him.

Argentinian Aguero, who is Diego Maradona' son in law, is a striker.

this, i might agree with you. but i dont think we're in a financial position to acquire players that can reach the amount of 200m.

I thought we were in for RM's VDV, seeing that he is one of the 4 needed to trim their squad. Wesley off to Inter, Hunt off to somewhere, and VDV rumoured to be choosing between going back to Hamburg or coming to the Bridge.

Van Der Vaart has been very good, starring for Ajax before lighting up the Bundesliga with excellent displays while with Hamburg. You haven't seen him play before mate?

Your statements also sometimes confuse me friend. I meant we were in for VDV, not anyone else, not the back 4 of RM. And I meant that RM will be looking to OFFLOAD another 4 players, hence the reason why VDV is up for sale now.

1- i think sneijder will be a great addition cuz of the up coming ANC..

2-then news about Sneijder to inter..to swap with maicon plus 15mil

3-i comment why they need another defender...i mean Real Madrid..

4-i still support if we buy van der vaart...

i would also like to comment on the 442 diamond thing carletto is implementing. my point is, why bother experimenting when hiddink applied the 4231 so perfectly at the end of the season? if the 442 proves to be better, that would be great, but what if it doesnt? we'll risk losing a shot at the prem title again

about ramos, i think he is over rated. i'd prefer bosingwa to ramos. he might as well be a winger if he doesnt like to track back.
