any xtreamer elvira user here?
i just got mine last week..
its my 3rd hd media player after wdtv live and diyomate k3..

i have a question tho and i hope some1 here could help me..
after configuring the elvira.. i found out that there is no audio coming out of my lcd when the display mode is set to 1080p 50hz or 1080p 60hz.. any other mode and the audio is fine.. i am not using any home theater system with the elvira so the audio is only coming from the hdmi connection.. and my lcd is a full hd 32" lcd which had no problems when playing 1080p movies via my wdtv live.. the 1080p movies meanwhile i have tried those that DTS, DD5.1 and AC3 audio track.. all ends up the same.. no audio when in 1080p 50/60hz mode..

can any1 point out how i could remedy this situation? or is the elvira faulty and needs to RMA?

i am having problems with my extremer elvira..

1. on some movie files, the elvira just shuts down while in the middle of the movie..
the same file played fine on my other hd media player which is the WDTV and my desktop pc..

2. the audio configuration is wierd if you just wanna set up the elvira with a normal lcd tv.. the audio wont come out.. tried various configuration with no luck.. the audio output to the lcd are 3 options, 2.1, 5.1, multi channel, tried all but still not sound on lcd.. doesnt happen with 1 movie but ALL movies.. in the end had to hook it up to my HTIB using optical cable.. then only there's audio..

3. menu navigation is super slow.. my ancient WDTV works faster..

what a let down this elvira is..

old wdtv 1st n 2nd gen yes but i doubt its better then a wdtv live..
