Added on November 5, 2009, 9:49 pmXtreamer can play BDMV files already. DTS HD MA and Dolby True HD will be passthru soon. Now is reading core DTS and downmix Dolby TrueHD to LPCM.

I think it is 720p.

It can accept 1080p 24fps but its native rez is 720p. I am eyeing JVS D-ILA RS10 or Optoma HD82

firmware 2.0 confirmed cannot play TrueHD and DTS-HDMA
It can recognize TrueHD, but passthrough as stereo nia
whereas it can't even recognize DTS-HDMA
only able to recognize DTS core and passthrough as DTS
wdtv live even much better than this
what a big let down for

did they promise these features when xtreamer was launched.. if so, that's bad..

I read somewhere in the firmware 2.0 release notes that DTS HDMA passthru is ok already but they still waiting DTS labs to release the rights for them to do so.

Probably Realtek cannot get lesen from Dolby and DTS to passthru their HD audio.

I said "probably" right. Same thing with all those Realtek based players lah...(except those China mali one who don't give 2 hoots about licenses )

Lesen problem only. Not limitation on firmware. So guys, dun worry about the passthru as it will be enable soon. My feeling la.....

DTS and Dolby, want money only. Maybe Xtreamer nego kaw kaw with them as the Xtreamer is selling at a affordable cheap price.....

they said the approval from DTS lab for them to passthrough DTS-HDMA might be also to passthrough as downmixing only
like TrueHD, not passthrough the HD audio

2. Hebrew subtitle direction fixed.

3. Korean & Chinese & Japanese broken character fixed.

4. Xtreamer crash when Internet radio connect to wrong address/url.

5. NAS mode changed from “Go to Player” to “Reboot”.

6. Photo thumbnail changed from 5x4 to 4x3 matrix and size increased.

7. Subtitle offset lowest position changed to -50 from 0.

8. Preview playback starts from randomly 0~1/3 (before from 0~2/3)

9. When Movie preview is off, during movie playback, incorrect display of repeat icon removed from information window.

10. Display purple color on HDMI TV.
