I think I knew the problem, it's MAC unzip and PC unzip problem.

Unzip @ Mac, it created a 2.7.0 folder with lots of files and which is not detectable @ Xtreamer Pro Firmware Upgrade.

Unzip @ PC, it created a single file which is readable and executable by Xtreamer Pro.

Hi MK84, may I know how do you stream Astro to Xtreamer Sidewinder or Pro?, mind to share or PM me?

For HD streaming, you'll need:

For capturing :
HTPC
Hauppauge HD-PVR (for video capture)
HDFury2 or 3 (for HDCP stripping)
Windows Media Center Remote and IR Blaster (for channel changing)
DVBLink for HD-PVR plugin for Windows Media Center

For streaming:
DVBLink Network Pack (acts as UPnP server).

Hmm... It sounds complicated, though one just need the URLs of the Astro channels and get the online live streaming.

My iPad can see two devices in the airplay icon, but when switch to the xtreamer which connect to optoma hd20 via yamaha rx-v2067 amp, the xtreamer just switch the screen to Media Library screen and do nothing

Having the same problem as described by kiding. Yeah, latest 4.3.2 iOS, there are two options on Airplay, ipad and myxtreamer, when myxtreamer selected, try out the photo, picture not loaded, only can see xtreamer home screen and black screen when slide to next picture.

My iPad IOS is 4.3.1, Apple products do not really need many steps to configure, so I believe the Airplay feature is not fully supported, otherwise, xtreamer will put a big banner to advertise it already.

perhaps....it only can be used on iXtreamer models only as per info at forum.xtreamer.net with latest 2.7 FW.

After a lighting strike, my modem, router and etrayz got problem.

When I power up etrayz, the PowerAccess light is on... but nothing else happen after that

I am currently using Raid to combine 2 hdd into 1 logical space. Any help?

No one has an idea? Regret using Raid 0. Now I have 4TB of data not sure whether can get it out. Even If yes, it would cost me another 2x2TB just to copy it out

Is your HDD still alive? Otherwise, it will be mission impossible to recover your data.

The format inside Etrayz is XFS format (if I still remember it correctly).

One alternative is to get 1 more Etrayz to try out whether your HDD Raid 0 still alive.

im using extreamer pro with firmware 2.7 (i think so..)..the problem is it wont turn off after i view my media content in it..the display on my led tv is turn off but on the xtreamer pro itself the power and hdd light wont go off until i pull out the plug. it has been happening for a few time and now my extreamer wont even start..the red light(power) just start and nothing happen..please somebody help...700ringgit just waste like that..shit!!!...i need help!!

looks like u have brick your xtreamer...did u sucessfully upgrade to 2.7? or theres some problem while updating?

the only choice now is to unplug everything from main power, even the ac adapter then about 15 to 20 minutes try again to turn it on..if problem still exist then redo the 1st step back and flash your xtreamer with emergency pro firmware..that will erase everything before and instal a fresh now OS to extreamer
