yeah...would like to know more about the Xtreamer DVD ...anyone?

Xtreamer Prodigy and Xtreamer Ultra very tempting!!! When la will reach our shore??

Xtreamer DVD is available at certain Xtreamer resellers at the moment.

it is a great device with additional DVD rom support, 2 in 1 device with Full HD media player + DVD disc support.

It has front panel display, support DVD disc backup to external HDD. it also comes with a card reader too.

I would say it is an elegant piece of DVD player if you compare to other brands.

Have a look and test it yourself.

meaning, can we rip the dvd content and save it in other format in the hdd?

already got my xtpro yesterday... spend the whole night messing around with it...
i upgraded it to fw 2.6.0 ... the first time tried to update it using usb stick... it hang halfway... anybody experience this?
i then using other usb stick and using the composite video instead of hdmi... and luckily it works...
is it the usb stick or the display output cause it hang? i read in the website saying to change to composite output if using emergency fw update... in my case im using the normal fw update...

also... is there any way we can create a few user to access the ftp service?

bro, i thought only xtreamer sidewinder is having the 2.6 version software but not the xtreamer pro. maybe you want to check the latest fw for xtpro. different product different fw. just my 2 piece opinion.

Bro, I've received email from xtreamer for pre-order on xtreamer Ultra.. will your company bring this device on our shore once it released? Or else... Thinking of doing pre-order with them.

wondering if it's worth to pre-order the xtreamer ultra... RM 1212 after conversion.. but they do give the wifi n adapter and upgrade to 16gb USB stick.

If the price is rm1212, I might consider Dell Inspiron Zino HD only rm999 got HDD 1TB, 4GB ram & DVDRW..

i dont think you can get Zino with that specs at rm999.00.

well, personal preference, but i think you're informing us the wrong information regarding Zino with RM999.00 with 1tb hdd. btw, you're discussing about HTPC or media player here? if you ask me again, i'll build my own HTPC rather than buying Zino.
