QUOTE(azbro @ Feb 17 2011, 12:32 PM) You should go for Vantec USB3.0 and if you have more budget...the USB3.0 Vantec twin dockers. Or if got more budget and lotsa hardisk: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=794512&hl=4+BayThe one with USB 3.0 is slightly more expensive than the older one... nice recommendation Added on February 17, 2011, 11:24 pmQUOTE(mr.anutta @ Feb 17 2011, 05:54 PM) my guess, the unit price will be around rm1000... RM1.6K HTPC, I would rather assembly my own HTPC.

hopefully it won't cost more than Dell's Zino which is using a more powerful AMD Athlon™ II P360 Dual-Core Processor bundled with ATI Mob 5250, 500GB HDD, which is selling for $1299..

There's plus minus between Dedicated Media Streamers and HTPC.
But since I already have Notebook, I prefer media streamer just to do it's job limited to stream online + play HD movies and lossless audio.

Another new product from Xtreamer. Seems to be as good as a HTPC. Xtreamer ProdigyThe Xtreamer Prodigy is a next generation Realtek based media streamer with USB 3.0, Card Reader, 256Mb RAM and 512 Mb NAND flash memory, HDMI, an integral IR remote control and room for internal 3."5 HDD. Just like 2010 models it will provide vivid and crisp playback of FULL HD multimedia files and open to you the wonderful world of Internet entertainment. Hi. xtreamer pro user here as well Anyone can recommend an enclosure that can slot atleast 4 HDD at the same time?
Should I get a RAID or NON-RAID version? Whats the difference? Thanks
