never heard the paint will be peeled off since the 'body' of the headset wont touch ur head, unless u're talking about the colour of the earcup which can be faded provided u do sweat a lot. i heard some revews that carcharias (duno correct spelling) is very good in terms of sound quality. budget gamers shud try it out.

hehe, just got my mamba from moderno. first impression: the packaging. the packaging is very cool, but i have encountered some problems taking the mouse out of the box stand.
lol, when i finally manage to put out the mouse, i saw the one at the battery dock got one piece of paper (which i eventually realize it was there to ease the process of taking out the battery in the future). i tried to pull the 'paper', but i failed miserably. oh well, when i read the master guide, only then i realized the REAL purpose of that silly piece of 'paper'. then here's the real problem start: the battery cover. like everdying's unit, my battery cover slip (after being placed) is not balance, therefore i can experienced some 'frictions' when moving the mouse. but hey, i really like how things work via wireless. no more hindrance from the wire's bad cable management. |

oh well. he'll suffer with the wow mouse anyways. the grip for DA is way better. even ikari laser worths much more than the wow edition mouse. srsly, i only recommend wow mouse if u PLAY wow, if not, just stick to the DA.

yeap, as long got 3 bars (whether its dim or not), it means fully charged.
Sadly, my mamba wont last long after 14 hours of straight gaming. P/S: I got my mamba on sale. The newer batch with round teflon ring around the sensor. |

But at least the manual bundled with mamba is pretty attractive (much better than most gaming peripherals' manual), but is doesnt show 'enough' info though.
As for the mouse 'jittering' issue, well, i guess most of mamba users suffer the same thing. just need to wait for newer firmware, i suppose. |
