DJ MARKET TALK: BJToto Off 0.2%; Downgrades Likely -Maybank
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 0328 GMT [Dow Jones] Berjaya Sports Toto (1562.KU) down 0.2% at MYR4.36; local dealer says 3QFY10 results largely in-line with analysts' forecasts "but there are concerns that competition will continue to affect revenue and earnings going forward;" stock may test support at MYR4.34 (10-day moving average). Maybank Investment analyst Teh Chi-Chang expects consensus downgrades in months to come, with lotto's appeal "waning" (house estimates lotto sales fell 34% on-year in 3Q). Adds, dividend also set to fall (BJToto didn't pay dividend in 3Q) while newly launched Supreme 6/58 game "unlikely to be a game changer." House keeps stock at Sell, target at MYR4.05 but "we see downside risk to our already below-consensus forecasts." |
