i maybe not very good in this, still learning but this is what my gym instructor has told me.. Juz sharing.. Start off with a lower weight of dumbbell, do it slowly and try find the rhythm and feel your muscle which u aim for. Make sure u breath correctly or u wont get the result. Stop ur exercise if ur shoulder or back feeling pain but u stil need do at least 8rep per set.
So take ur time & train slowly. I think ur body will slowly gain its strength then u can go for heavier dumbbell.

QUOTE(gohkokho @ Dec 10 2009, 11:45 PM) how to breath properly during exercise? Its like u inhale with ur nose & exhale with ur mouth. For weight lifting, exhale while u lift the weight against gravity & vice versa. Added on December 12, 2009, 9:35 amoh yeah, just for info & sharing.. I have just start jogging.. Well, on my 1st day of jogging, i feel itching all over my body. i think some of u will feel itching at thigh & body. Actually, this is not a very big problem. I have find out few answer from Yahoo Answer and i think the best answer would be blood circulation. I experienced itching all over my body on 1st day & scratching it like mad man on track jogging. But it went off on 2nd day. Maybe some will take longer time if you didnt do exercise for long period. For more answer, you can google it up This post has been edited by kb24: Dec 12 2009, 09:36 AM
