What server do you guys play on? Possible to pass the IP? Hard to look for a local server with below 200 ping.

I seem to get 160-200 ping on the server, even though I'm in Malaysia.
And yes, my net is completely fine and rarely lags or drops. |

QUOTE(blitzio @ Sep 19 2011, 11:54 PM) I'm in SG and I usually get 100-120 but tonight it spiked up to about the same 160-200. We are sending a support ticket to the server provider so that they can look into it. Server might need more bandwidth or something. Apparently RO2 really takes a huge toll on server resources/bandwidth and computing power compared to other games. Glad to know I'm not the only one. Sounds golden, hopefully everything goes well and the ping starts to go back to what it should be. Really hoping to have a proper match with proper ping.Hopefully we get to the bottom of this in the next couple of days. And yeah, RO2 is a pretty demanding game. |

On a side note, why doesn't anyone play on Gamers.Sg?

Very unfortunate indeed,
Maybe we should try attract or create events on Steam, inviting players to join in? I mean, it's the only local server I get 90 ping on. For some reason. |

QUOTE(blitzio @ Sep 24 2011, 08:21 AM) Sorry to hear that. There was a problem with the game's optimisation causing ping to shoot up randomly. The new patch has addressed this and is a lot smoother now. I had the same problem as you guys but this seems to have been fixed now. Join us for our Sunday sesh tomorrrow. 2pm onwards An update with fixes on incorrect ping with SEA servers? Sounds solid. Updating now. Hopefully all goes well and I can join you guys this Sunday. =D |
