Baronic: Hey guise, i'm here to recruit a REAL /k/ army, with mission objectives to make an actual change in the world we live it. While some of you may be skeptical, and thinking what can a pebble do in an ocean, but TOGETHER, we'll create a tsunami that everyone will stand up and notice. Organisation of the army is not yet set, but there will probably no generals. Every member of /k/ army will have equal rights, in the proposal of new missions. And then depending on the reception of the mission, the entire /k/ Army will accept it, and act upon it.

Missions MUST be of legal nature, with the objective of doing GOOD rather than bad. With ISA still effective, we will not give an excuse to have us taken in. So if you thought we're gonna be an /i/ army like 4chan, we're not. Nonetheless, we will be a force to be reckoned with. United we will stand, and united we will make a name for ourselves.

This is the first step ladies and gentlemen.
Noone will be forced to join /k/ army. Nor will anyone be forced to stay should one choose to leave. Nor will all /k/ army members be forced to undertake a mission, should you feel it is against your personal principles. But remember this, united we stand. Divided, we will fall.

So what say you, men and women of /k/?

Do i have your bow, your axe and your sword? Say aye and join us.

Be more than just a username on the interwebs.
We're currently looking for a nice /k/ army banner for signature purposes, as a proud tag. Any volunteers? Also need a coat of arms!

I have been adding in members via PM request, but that's about it.

My bad, I am also extremely busy at the moment with work and such, which explains why I am only online once a day (which is only at night, like right now) tongue.gif

I agree on the transfer to a more proactive member to carry on the torch, whom can be free to mobilize our /k/ troops thumbup.gif

[Comment From Firedauz ]
Good evening, Dr Max. How do you see the future of Internet service in Malaysia? Will one day we will be able to grace the ultra-fast, fiber-optic Internet speed of Japan, which only cost around RM50 per month for the consumers? I have been based in Tokyo for several years now, enjoying the luxury of the quality services and speed of Sofbank and Yahoo! BB, which is why I hope that one day for the average citizens of Malaysia, I see them enjoying the same benefit as I do. Thank you -- Firedauz.

Dr Max:  Thank Firedauz. My desire is to ensure all Malaysians could enjoy the same Internet speed as what developed countries like Japan enjoy. It is possible with the political will of the Government and the cooperation of all key industry players including state governments. As I said, we should not wait 10 years to enjoy that level of Internet speed in developed countries. My own expectation is that there will be a major achievement within the next three years.

First volunteer anti-crime unit in KL

Kuala Lumpur police have set up a Volunteer Anti-Crime Unit in the Sentul police district in their efforts to have a safe environment for residents, said city police chief Datuk Muhammad Sabtu Osman.
He said the unit was the police’s effort to tackle and eradicate crime in a pro-active manner.

"The unit is not only the first in Kuala Lumpur but first in the country and we plan to set up similar units in other police districts in stages," said Muhammad Sabtu when launching a community policing programme at Desa Rejang, Wangsa Maju, today.

He said besides bringing about a safe environment the unit was also to enhance cooperation between the police and the community.

"Since its set up early this year the voluntary unit has 211 members to educate the community to help to prevent crime," he said.

A point of interest due to all the rising of crimes lately, if anyone is interested to join biggrin.gif
