No, I don't think they auto sync as of now.

I think it just update facebook with the x trophies that you have sync'd previously.

Open up your trophy card in the XMB, you should an extra icon at the side of it. Use the directional button to select it and change color.

Can't show up on where?
To set your color, just head to your PSN ID profile, press the D-pad then press O (or X if you're using a US/EU PS3), then select your color.

Nope.
Trophies earned after this update will only show up on FB.
