Thanks to those gawd damn pirates.

We dont have LAN anymore.

That's a whole load of BS by those greedy company.

These days, even private server is a luxury, and some that do still allow private server does it under a condition that it can only be hosted at so and so service. This has the word money written all over it.

Piracy is something that has always been around even before online gaming. These has never had anything to do with piracy, its all about commercialization of video games.

Next COD will have premium service. Valve moving away from SP focused game and starts implementing stores in their game. Different companies are doing it differently, but it all points towards the same agenda.

Why modding support is getting lesser by the years? It has nothing to do with piracy. It has everything to do with preventing user created content so they can shove down their own content

hey guys you guys think this game is as demanding as the first crysis? in terms of hardware? now im usin hd 5770, just bought recently, so wandering whether can handle it or not...

Hard to tell at this moment. From some of the still pictures, it does looks like it uses some high quality lighting, true HDR quality rather than the bloom effect we see in so many of today's console-itis game including COD. Bloom is a very cheap lighting trick, and it doesn't look like BF 3 is using it, so thats a positive sign.

But those still photo is just that, it could be pre rendered. We'll see.

Is there really no hope for a BF2 like bots in BF3? sad.gif

I really enjoy playing with bots in BF2, just to have the maps really filled out. Online, now I can only find like 1 ranked server with reasonable ping. And its hardly full.

I played B2 last time, still have the disc. I have the key also. But now I try to install, the disc corrupted..don't know if can download B2 and activate the game using my original key....got 3 CD inside the box, first CD corrupt...
last time i played the rank servers, few months ago, no lag although ping quite high around 200++
and can't wait for battlefield 3 gameplay at E3
*
Recently I heard players are getting kicked when their ping are higher than 200

In fact, this server I played in, Taiwan server if I'm not mistaken. they are also kicking players with reason ping close to 200 shakehead.gif

Sad to see the online community nowadays

There are still people playing BF2 till now.

I think there's only one Taiwan server that is still active and ping is low enough.
All the time I just play on that same server now, lol.

Boy I really hope BF3 will have more servers than that in our region.

I love weapon customization

The first game I played with weapon customization was Global Operation, stuff like scope, sound suppressor and extended mag.

That game also have very realistic reloading animation. If you are changing a clip that isn't finished yet, you simply remove the clip and put in another one without having to chamber a round as there's already one round in the gun. Hopefully BF3 will have such realism too

Ya, I was referring to BF2. I love shooting tanks but their submachine gun is kind of hard to use at long range. sweat.gif

They automatically redirect us to the nearest location. There is no Malaysian EA store, all Malaysian are directed to Origin SG.

And thats the only place we can buy Battlefield 3 at the moment. And a credit card is required, no paypal.

F--- EA. Its like they are forcing people not to buy Battlefield 3

Problem is I'm a student, so I don't have any card sweat.gif
Paypal is easy because we can just transfer fund from our online banking. Even Direct2Drive and Gamersgate support Paypal, but EA games at those site only available for North America doh.gif

yea, but u can bank in the amount and have them deliver the items to you

Hmm.. thats good news. I'm considering that
though what I actually dislike about retail games is we need the DVD disc to play. Haven't touch one for a long time though. Is it still like that nowadays?

QUOTE(bontotalan @ Jul 12 2011, 08:34 AM)
so the pricing currently is like this eh

RM 155 - heavyarm [download]
RM 140 +- - Origin [download]
RM 160 +- - Gamersgate [download]
RM 160 +- - Direct2Drive [download]
RM ??? - TSB [retail]

?

EA games are not available outside of North America on Gamersgate and Direct2Drive, unless can get someone there to help gift the game to us unsure.gif

QUOTE(sasaug @ Jul 12 2011, 10:42 AM)
