Some like the health regen , some don'...

I've played the older gen FPS and yet I still like the health regen system... some ppl needs to go with the flow.

Based on the replies, most of you guys don't seem to understand how health regen works in most FPS games:
- players do not regenerate health the moment they take damage
- the rate of regeneration is not as fast as many of you like to think it is

In the case of BC2, health regen will only begin if the player doesn't take any further damage for 6 seconds, after which the player will recover at a rate of 3 health per second.

That means, for a player who is at the brink of dying (aka he has taken 99 damage), he will need to wait a daunting 33 seconds to fully recover back to 100 health (and for body armor users, they'll need approximately 41 seconds to recover back to 125 health if they've taken 124 damage). The medic's first aid kit is able to accelerate the rate of recovery to 13 health per second (or 10 health per second if the player is still taking damage from enemy fire), hence medics are able to cut down the waiting time for both body armor & non body armor users to less than 10 seconds. Who the hell says medics are useless just because of health regen?
