QUOTE(michael9413 @ Oct 2 2009, 04:16 PM) thinner side walls??? low profile tires u mean la... yes... because of it's thread design and also it's compound... icic. That is something i learnt today. I feel the tires give better grip or handling compared to my stock tires but more noisy compared to my stock tires. Hmm, is there any 15" tires recommended for me? I want a silent tires. Thanks lets say the size is 225/45 R17... u got Yokohama S Drive and Yokohama C Drive... surely the Yokohama C drive will be more quiet as it's design for comfort and quiet... as for Yokohama S Drive is designed for performance and its directional thread generate more noise... so different design and also different cat. (UHP vs Extreme) will have different results... |

QUOTE(yngwie @ Feb 15 2011, 10:54 PM) you change to new or used tire? rims doesn't generate noise(only vibration on bad condition rims). basically it was down to tire choice. new cheapo china tires. damn, i ask for other tires they don't have. only china tires got 15". that shop really sucks. gonna change my tires soon. any recommended brand? just want silent tires only.also, check with your mechanic if the wheel bearing is fine. QUOTE(michael9413 @ Feb 15 2011, 11:52 PM) mua haha... 18" don have??? the cheapo china tyes, wanli.what brand and model of tire are you using??? as bro yngwei said rim will not generate also noise only... if you don mind it's noise then V8rs is the choice... if not Falken 912 is slightly better than XM1... if you able to get Yokohama C Drive also good... |
