My new Fiat Bravo GT came with Continental CSC3, size 225/40/R18.
Bloody hell they're really noisy. Anyone here tested CSC3s and their alternatives - Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric/Pirelli P Zero Rosso/Michelin PP2? Care to comment? Especially on the tyre roar.
Thanks.

QUOTE(michael9413 @ Oct 19 2009, 09:36 AM) Feedback from some forummers that F1 Assy is the best choice as it is still reasonably priced... its noise and grip level also at satisfaction level... Thanks mate. Yeah I've been getting really good feedback regarding the F1 Asymmetric. I'll probably use the original CSC3s for a few months or so, then think about replacing them as I've just lowered the pressure down to 32psi for all 4 tyres, and the noise is slightly more tolerable now.

Sorry didn't know this thread existed.
Well anyway, dad busted my front left tyre.
For 225/40 R18, Conti CSC3 (stock), Goodyear F1 Asymmetric, or Bridgestone RE050?
Planning to change both fronts this weekend.

QUOTE(michael9413 @ Jan 19 2010, 09:24 AM) \ F1 Assy all the way... comfort with handling of extreme tires... quiet and for low profile... Alright thanks mate. That is by far my cheapest option anyway, was quoted RM700 per piece.

It's for my Fiat Bravo T-Jet 150. Stock tyres are Conti CSC3s which would cost me around RM1150 each. I'm actually quite agreeable to the F1 Asymmetric price, considering the performance.
