Hey there, i m on SEG 1.6 M and now using 195/55/15 sport rims with Dunlop Formula D01...

previously on stock rims 185/65/14 ( think) and yokohama S306

changed to dunlop due to s306 making me VERY VERY paranoid in wet conditions....

s306 nice 2 skid/slide in d dry through controllable slide....

dunlop is on rails in dry but once traction breaks threes NO control

dunlop is much better in wet with a pretty good price 2 years back.

its time to change and i am looking for comfort + quiet + good wet handling.

Please share comments experiences on those 2 tires mentioned above as well as recommendations on future choices and prices.

not into spirited driving everyday jus once in a bLUE MoOn

Formula D-01 is on A rating.. hows D01 rated on hardness/sidewall stiffness compared to PP2 BS RE001 and hankook?....

@loong... yea Dunlop D01... cannot push ... push either get wild understear or wild overstear... no control... not subtle and controllable.... but to get to to do either is also quite hard....hav to really drive rough... under rain conditions... almost similar but easier 2 push it and lose control.... its a bit hard... quite quiet for an old tire... plus not to mention bang for the buck!

Loong and michael ......i wonder how pp2 sound and harshness and wet driving is compared to dunlop???

@michael... hmm v12 hydroplaning not as good as PP2? i m considering v12 now after reading some of ur comments.... hmmm

i jus wonder how v12 is compared to dunlop..... any comparison on dunlop formula D01 ... hankook v12 and pp2?

when you say performance... u mean?

all over aka dry win wet win, less sound and more comfort? or under which category does the performance fall under?

may i ask how much does it cost for 195/55/15 for goodyear F1 Assy?

sigh manufacturers keeping the good stuff from small wheel users
