QUOTE(loong2020 @ Oct 26 2009, 12:23 PM) hows dunlop D01???...i see quite alot people using it... ...and even my friends just changed their tires also dunlop d01... it sucks...worse than parada spec 2QUOTE(vios2002 @ Oct 26 2009, 12:25 PM) After using this Federal 595 EVO for about 3 weeks and have drove about 2k plus km ur size and car please...Noise level is high 7/10 Tire side wall stiff 6/10 Dry grip 7.5/10 Wet grip 6/10 Rubber wear 5/10 Dry grip tire very easy to reach optium temperature and dont need to push to warm up it... after reach working temp it will grip very well if you know how to take cornering line in high speed the tire dont make noise, for Understeer in some corner rarely happen in medium & high speed but if entering corner at high speed to a slow speed corner it do understeer due to cornering & braking at the same time Wet road i just push in strait line ... grip is well to cut alot water, Cornering i dint push much as our normal road got oil on the road surface so it will be make it more slippery so GUYS dont push your luck till the edge some time. |

QUOTE(bizzy @ Oct 26 2009, 03:25 PM) well im do alot of cornering. what size?..achilles 123 not that good...u can try federal rsr that im selling...on track oni 0.5 slower than r888...So far dont talk about semi slicks. below Rm200. no need to pick anymore. prada spec 2. is the best. people said sidewall is soft. yes correct. but i manage to make it better by pump more air in it. im usually pump while do cornering at 255 pressure. normal drive mayb just go 245 or 240. so about not semi slicks. potenza Re001, is the best but price. Wow. but not sure is very nice. cuz my 1st performance tire i try in low budget is prada spec 2. and now wanna go between 200 to Rm250. any suggestion? so far Rs2 hancook is that price. V12 how much is it same as Rs2? and how about Hero molenza H1 i think.. the tire thread look like Rs2 hankook as well. About semi slicks, so far is Ad07 but no more production and the next best and cheap semi slicks is Federal 595S. i heard alot. but the rubber do hard core cornering thread will split out.. hmm like u use pencil rubber and u try to erase it and that Rubber Shit tat peel off like that. and also must well taken care of the tire or else the sidewall can split. like old people strip line u know ? so i wanted people have giv more option for me as well plz! pro and really do lot of cornering people. i dont care about noise. since prada spec 2 are not that quite as well. my choice for non semi slicks are Rs2, or hero milanza HR1 . and yet also got someone recommended me. Achilles 123. the thread look a like R888 toyo. re001,pp2 n t1r is on same league... that rubber that peel off is semi slick compound...its normal actually for semi slick... |

QUOTE(michael9413 @ Oct 27 2009, 01:26 PM) yes do not buy the tire cos of thread... if u r like that then u never will touch PP2... but it is quite good although the wet handling could be better... otherwise it is a good tire... pp2 is among the normal looking tires...if put side by side with re001,t1r surely people will ignore it...because it is asymmetric pattern... not aggressive looking... QUOTE(feralee @ Oct 27 2009, 01:28 PM) quality suck...not as good as thailand...QUOTE(yngwie @ Oct 27 2009, 01:41 PM) a.drive is an entry level tyre from yokohama. comfort level is on par with ze912 / pp2 but it wasn't designed for spirited driving. go for 205/55@60 la bro...better...sux in fast corner. 195/60/r15 of c.drive is available around 200 bucks too. more grip in corner but ride is firmer than a.drive. then again, we can never have the comfort and performance at the same time... either one have to be compromised by the suspension setup |
