finally someone with a good answer.. u do urs where? rm5/tire? read b4 was rm3.. yup got my friend oso told me there are certain shop do mix in the nitro tank.. i wanna find the rite shop with the rite equipment.. that's why been asking around.. hehe.. thx btw
*
somewhere in taman maju jaya, kl. yup. rm5 / tire. rm3/tire is for subsequent refill. i tried few other shop before but pressure only maintain for about 50 days.
suspected those shop mixed their nitrogen with oxygen.
btw, help a friend changing the tires of her myvi somewhere in may this year. falken 912 with nitrogen filling. till now, the pressure drop is only about 10kpa. so, i guess, it worth the filling.

depending on your budget. either v12 evo or gy f1 asymmetric will be fine. smallest gy f1 asymmetric is 205/45/r17.
if you don't mind slightly softer sidewall but good wet and dry grip, ps3 is fine too. but price is higher.

don that 205/45/17 will be more thin compare to 215.?? then i guess it will be more noisy since is too thin. is it corect. sory i m noob on the tire knowledge. laugh.gif
Michelin i not dare to aim alr. coz the price is very high. but i know the quality is there... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

tire is determined by width / profile / wheels size.= 205/45/r17
205 is tire width. 205 had slightly lesser surface contact compare to 215. getting a wider tires is fine. make sure the inner tires' sidewall did not touch the inner fender during full steering turn.
profile = thin. the lower the profile, the thinner the tires if you could call it thinner tongue.gif 45 should be just fine for sporty looks and handling. but there is sacrifice in comfort.
the thicker the profile, ie; profile 60, the more comfortable the ride is(partly determined by absorber setup, tires type and pressure too).

noise is mostly determined by road condition... just kidding tires tread pattern, material being used and tires' tread wear %.
the deeper the tread; like those of deep directional tread like goodyear f1 gsd3 or dunlop fm903, the noisier they are.
as the tread wear out, any tires will become noisy too. hope this help icon_rolleyes.gif

S1 Evo only available at size 225/45/R17 which i think the price would be around rm500/pcs....  shocking.gif  so it is way out of my budget alr....
then i might jt stick to either GY F1 or Hankook V12 Evo which is more easy to find on my area here... dun think have Nexen at my area... smile.gif
*
then F1 Asy or V12 is ur choice...

PS3 sidewall is harder than V12... V12 sidewall is more flex than PS3 during hard corner...
if you think V12 sidewall is soft then PS3 is just nice... just stick to ur stock tire pressure recommendation PS3 should work well but with V12 u need another 1~2 PSI to feel better...
using it b4 switch to PS3 and also the grip wise PS3 also slightly better than V12...

side wall sifter means more comfort... but handling will loose out a bit cos the tire sidewall will flex during the corner...
V12 i think did a great job la... but noise is very subjective... overall V12 user is quite happy...

no idea about s1 evo but ps3 should be around 240 bucks each. quoted by a shop in pandan jaya.
if you're driving in kl frequently, stick to profile 50.

S1 Evo starts at 16" as per bro KC mention... PS3 will not be that cheap 195/50 R15 easily cost you RM230... as i know 195/55 R15 is around RM260 now... Hankook V12 Evo is around RM190 smile.gif

195/45 R15 is odd size so u should maintain to ur current size...

thanks. jt roughly survey thru phone and the price for V12evo 215/45/R17 quoted RM350/pc and he recomend me to go for S1 evo which cost RM420/pc.....

so in that rm420 range i will have more choices like PS3 and GY F1 Asym which is fall in that price range also.... nod.gif so wondering which one would be best for buck
