QUOTE(kokanchai @ Nov 16 2010, 09:23 AM) tires choice will be very much depend on your driving style and preference.for 15" comfort and quiet, you can try Continental comfort contact 5. selling under 200 bucks each at any tires shop. Goodride is china brand. about the same with Pace brand which is very cheap i use 'em for drift practice. not recommended on daily ride. |

QUOTE(D-Zire @ Nov 14 2010, 01:05 PM) guys, Mate its wrong to rotate in that manner. for FWD, move the rear tire to front parallely and move the front tire crossed to rear.my tyres are up for rotation (back to front and front to back) coz reach 10k mileage already. So i'm wondering if i can just walk into any tire shop to do this? how much roughly would that cost me? or should i ask the service center to do it for me? thanks =) |

QUOTE(yngwie @ Nov 5 2010, 03:18 PM) micheal, where have you been? yes it is AA in traction rating... i bought it at Klang, Ban Hooi...btw, where did you bought your v12 from? traction was rated at aa, right? haha i has been MIA lo... i read the forum once a while but find ppl really joking about their safety... they drive like a pro racer but use an entree level tire... most of them driving big cars where it cost more than RM50k and willing to pay only 1% of their car value they really "LOVE" their love ones and themselves... haha... QUOTE(lang4 @ Nov 9 2010, 05:29 PM) How much for 4 pcs tires 205/50/16 or 205/45/16: GT haven't try b4, 595 is not that cheap also... but GT should be the cheapest...Hankook V12 and Federal 595EVO, 595 and GT Radial Champiro HPX prefer rawang to klang area or somewhere kota bharu. for the size Hankook V12 is the most recommendable one... reasonably value... QUOTE(xeratos_85 @ Nov 10 2010, 05:00 PM) which 1 is better between : Goodyear NCT 5 and falken Falken ZIEX ZE-912 ? (for 195/55R15) sorry if my question already answered in previous post QUOTE(xeratos_85 @ Nov 12 2010, 11:25 AM) currently i'm using NCT5 , but planning to change tyre. for me i 912 is better, but if you don mind try Hankook V12 Evo, should be around RM180 and it perform much better than NCT5... 912 not bad but it is a lil more towards comfort... at my place, nct was sold for RM185 while Falken 912 RM 165 . that why i'm confuse already . Skip NCT5 if you precious your family's life and urs... coz it's wet grip really bad after 50% used... QUOTE(kokanchai @ Nov 15 2010, 10:20 PM) hi guys, well bro you are driving an Altis and u can't even pay RM400 for 1 pair of tires i would like to ask, for 15 inch rim, what tyre good to use? silent sound, and comfortable..price budger around 200-300 for a pair i found out this new goodride tyre only Rm280 a pair.. how you guys think.(driving 9th gen altis) if you wanna safer drive, Yokohama C Drive, Falken 912, Goodyear Assurance should be better choice... and those tires should be around RM200/pc... those cheap tires will not give you the grip you need, in case of emergency good luck to you... remember things happen suddenly, drive slowly or carefully does not help... the brakes and tires are the critical component that help your car to stop... it will help you car's braking distance if you get better quality for those 2 component.... Cheers... This post has been edited by michael9413: Nov 17 2010, 06:39 PM |
