i drove a friend's car fitted with made in indonesia's ze-522 last year. it's wet grip sux big time.
you should go for ze-912 instead. silent and decent grip overall.

cartack@
how much is your budget? and preference? perhaps, you could try xm1. quiet and comfort but lesser tread wear rate.

Str33tBoY@
decent tires. you already know what to check. never settle for more than 1 year old tires.

rm190/pc for michelin xm1 175/65/r14 is more then enough , got mine 185/60/r14 for rm180(can get cheaper) a year ago. size 175/65/r14 is definitely cheaper then size 185/60/r14, should below rm170/pc.

nah! any tires will become noisy after a while, or as soon as the tread wear out.
made in thailand is fine. for some reason, stay away from those made in indonesia falken. drove friend's car fitted with indonesian made falken 522
sometimes ago and the wet grip is very bad.
btw, it will be very much depend on your budget.
xm1 is quieter due to the low rolling resistance tech and perhaps slightly different compound. anyway, it's tread wear out
faster. even so if you're an aggressive driver.

phas3r@
smallest ps3 size was 15". xm1 has far better grip than nct5, especially in wet.
btw, nct5 will become slippery when it tread become lesser than 70%. no advisable for spirited driving.

Hi sifus, Regarding iswara 1.5 UK spec,

What is the size of the stock rim? I overhear the car mech saying the tayar is something like 150/90.

With a budget of RM 17--180, What can be the best choice given my limited budget?

Thanks a lot for your help notworthy.gif

is there any advantage of using that specific size and brand? Is it possible to get a set of tyre that save back a bit on FC with my limited budget?
